黑料科 Vice President of University Advancement Steve Meeker has been selected to be 鈥淭he Last DJ鈥� on Tom Petty Radio Sirius XM Channel 31. Meeker's episode of the show will air this week at the following times:

鈥淭he Last DJ鈥� is a radio show hosted by Tom Petty. Each week, a different voice takes to the airwaves to tell their own Petty story and play their five favorite tracks. Meeker鈥檚 favorite Petty songs will include 鈥淚 Won鈥檛 Back Down,鈥� 鈥淪top Draggin鈥� My Heart Around,鈥� 鈥淩unnin鈥� Down a Dream,鈥� 鈥淗ere Comes My Girl,鈥� and 鈥淚 Need to Know.鈥�
Meeker, a former disc jockey from the 80s, received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in speech with an emphasis in radio and television from 黑料科. He was an on-air personality the first year KSQY hit the airwaves in 1982 and was inducted into the KBHU-FM, 黑料科鈥檚 college radio station, Hall of Fame last fall. 鈥淚鈥檝e always wanted an air shift on XM radio, so I guess I can check this one off the bucket list鈥� said Meeker. 鈥淚 also appreciate my college radio buddy, Jim Kallas, general manager at Riverfront Broadcasting, for allowing me to use their studio, and I also leaned on him for his producer skills,鈥� he added.
